Michael Karadjis on what happened in Suweida: https://theirantiimperialismandours.com ... ZM1AEFvdeg . I can't say that he has everything exactly right (for example, on a secondary issue, I've seen accounts that say government forces were NOT involved in the hospital attack), but it's the most thorough article I've seen.

Michael Karadjis has just posted a long article on his blog about the first year anniversary of the new Syrian government. It describes the very complex set of problems that the Sharaa government faces and notes the pluses and minuses of the situation. I suggest we read this and discuss it sometime: https://theirantiimperialismandours.com ... ion-today/

This is the second long article by Karadjis on Rojava. The part about the demographics of northern Syria is especially interesting. https://theirantiimperialismandours.com ... y-of-maps/
